Growing up, the main exposure you have to piranhas is cartoons. In these cartoons, they’re seen as vicious creatures who will stop at nothing to devour you whole.
In reality, scientists tell us, piranhas aren’t really like that. They’re not so much attracted to you as they are the scent of blood, and they’d much rather scavenge for their food rather than kill anyone.
Still, after seeing this video, it’s safe to say that I don’t want to swim in any piranha waters anytime soon.
