A man from Ohio has been convicted of sexually assaulting his 11-year-old daughter, following allegations from his two stepdaughters who also accused him of similar offenses.
A 48-year-old convicted sex offender is accused by one of his stepdaughters of raping her, resulting in her giving birth to his child at the age of 11.
A man from Columbus has been convicted on charges related to the sexual assault of a child under 13, as well as gross sexual imposition, according to a statement from the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Authorities arrived at a home in Columbus in August 2021, where the man’s daughter and two stepdaughters alleged that he had sexually abused them on several occasions, according to reports referencing undisclosed court documents.
An 11-year-old girl reported to authorities that she had been sexually abused by the man, according to the documents.
According to NBC 4, citing the prosecutor’s office, the man faced serious allegations from his stepdaughters, who claimed he assaulted them during their teenage years, spanning from 2008 to 2019, while they all resided under the same roof.
Authorities reported that the accused is said to have fathered a child with one of his stepdaughters, who was only 11 years old at the time of the birth, as stated by police and referenced by The News & Observer.
According to NBC 4, prosecutors stated that a DNA test would eventually verify the paternity of the child.
On December 17, the individual responsible is anticipated to receive their sentence, which may include a life term with the potential for parole after 15 years, according to the statement from the prosecutor’s office.
