A holiday decorating contest will celebrate the Clark Griswolds of Wheaton.
The city and the park district are once again encouraging residents, businesses, houses of worship and community organizations to participate in the “Light Up Wheaton” contest.
At stake are awards in three categories: Most Creative, People's Choice and Mayor's Choice.
To register a display, complete the Wheaton Park District's online form by noon on Thursday, Dec. 12. All registered participants must submit a photo of their entry, plus the address, by the deadline to lcali@wheatonparks.org to be considered for awards.
Photos and addresses will be shared on city and park district Facebook pages so people can drive by and tour the decorations around town.
Homes and businesses that are professionally decorated will not be eligible to win.
