A middle-aged man died at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville due to injuries sustained in a shooting early Thursday afternoon in the Cedar Brook area of Rocky Mount, and four suspects are in jail on first-degree murder charges in the case, Rocky Mount police said via email.
Police said Friday morning that Larry Hill, 52, was allegedly the target of a conspiracy to rob him and was shot during the robbery.
