Community center receives $25,000 boost for preschool renovation

DANVILLE — The Danville Area Community Center (DACC) has announced the receipt of a $25,000 grant to support its preschool education program. The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania, through their Greater Susquehanna Valley Competitive Grant Program, announced the funding recently.

This funding will enhance the DACC’s ability to provide high-quality, safe, secure, preschool care and education for local children ages 3 to 5, with a strong emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), art, fitness, and wellness.
