Before joining Cars for Kids, Cheryl served as President of the JPS Foundation, CEO of the Frontiers of Flight Museum, CEO of the North Texas American Red Cross, and President and CEO of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center.

Hari Mari, the upscale sandal and slipper company known, has named Kate White, an industry expert with deep premium market experience, the company’s first ever chief merchandising officer. White brings over twenty years of experience in the fashion industry, specifically in product strategy, commercialization, go-to-market execution, product lifecycle management, and inventory optimization. White will help lead Hari Mari’s launch of its Spring 2025 line, including new styles and categories of sandals, apparel and accessories, starting in February 2025.

Meagan Johnson has just been named the new executive director of the American Heart Association’s Dallas division. With over a decade of expertise in relationship development, fundraising, and leadership, Johnson will drive lifesaving work and connect the Association’s mission to North Texas communities and corporations. Under Johnson’s leadership, the Dallas team will continue to expand on key local health initiatives such as implementing blood pressure programs in clinics across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and establishing new Community Hypertension Stations to combat heart disease and prevent strokes.
